Chicago - Some Experts say that China could overtake the U.S. as the world superpower by the year 2020.

Some people here blame our nation's slide into second as the result of poor performance by students in our public school system.

But should students who attend overcrowded and underperforminng schools be allowed to use public money to finance a private education?

It's debate that's raged in our legistlature in Springfield in recent years, and is now coming to the forefront again.

Today, we get up to speed on what's happening with school vouchers, what's at stake and talk to people from both sides of the debate.
