CHICAGO (My50 Chicago) -
The Chicago Teachers Union has enough votes to authorize a teachers strike.
The last strike was twenty five years ago. But this year's battle between teachers and the district could move the dial.
And though students may be embracing the possibility of an extended summer, parents might have to start making alternative plans for the start of the school year.
Today, we'll talk to the teachers union as well as experts from an education watchdog about what's likely to happen.
