Chef Stephanie Izard to open new chicken restaurant

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The award-winning chef and owner of "The Girl and the Goat" is starting a new restaurant.

Stephanie Izard said she wants to open a fast-food chicken restaurant in River North next spring.

Izard got the idea while eating chicken in a mall, and realized that she had no idea where the food came from.

The project doesn't have a name yet. But she said it won't be called "The Girl and the Chicken."
