HICKORY HILLS, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

The FBI is looking for a man who robbed a bank branch in Hickory Hills Thursday afternoon.

The man approached a teller at the TCF Bank branch at 9357 S. Roberts Rd. in Hickory Hills about 2:30 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash, according to FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde.

The note implied the robber had a weapon, but none was shown, Hyde said. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s wearing a baseball cap, dark green shirt and white shorts. He is about 6 feet to 6-foot-1 with brown hair.

A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest and anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
