Is it a great new service, or another way for airlines to nickel and dime travelers?

American Airlines will now deliver your bags straight to your home, office or hotel - for a price.

The service costs $30 for one bag, $40 for two, and $50 for between three and 10 bags.

"This new product is certainly one of convenience," American Airlines spokesperson Mary Frances Fagan said.

American says the bags will arrive anywhere between one and four hours after your flight, and they'll go as far as 100 miles outside the airport.

"We've been hauling our own bags all these years. It's not a problem," one woman said.

Another traveler said he'll use it all the time.

"It's more convenient to deliver to the hotel or wherever I want," he said.

The new service started this week. You can't decide to do it at the airport, though.

Travelers will need to reserve the service at least two hours before their flights.
