CHICAGO (My50 Chicago) -
It's not everyday that you hear that a person's dream of playing for the NBA came true.
But for Chicago native Nazr Mohammed, it did.
And on July 28th, the 14-year NBA veteran signed to play back-up center for the NBA's Chicago Bulls.
But playing for the Bulls is not the only commitment Mohammed has to the City of Chicago.
Mohammed will host CPS High School Kenwood Academy's first capital improvements fundraiser through the Nazr Mohammed Foundation this August.
