ELGIN, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Elgin police cuffed four men who allegedly solicited an undercover cop posing as a prostitute in the northwest suburb.

The three-hour prostitution sting took place Thursday near a Metra train lot and Pace bus terminal on Elgin's west side, according to a police statement.

Four men were arrested under a local ordinance that carries a $1,000 fine, the statement said. Three vehicles were also towed, the statement said, and will be released once their owners pay another $1,000 fee.

Those charged were:

- Roberto Gasca-Perez, 50, of the 300 block of Standish Street in Elgin.

- Gustavo Granados-Castillo, 39, of the 500 block of Thorndale Avenue in Elgin.

- Terry Nolan, 30, of the 100 block of Meadowdale Road in Carpentersville.

- Harry Villegas, 45, of the 800 block of Bode Road in Elgin.

The men are scheduled to appear in the Elgin Branch Court on Sunday.
