CHICAGO (My50 Chicago) -
Today on Perspective we are going to talk to a Chicago icon.
After 43 years, Chicago Sun-Times Columnist Stella Foster has officially retired.
Stella is a Chicago native who began her career at the Chicago Sun-Times in 1969 when she interviewed to be the Secretary for Columnist Irv Kupcinet.
But Stella was more than just a Secretary, she also contributed to the writing and reporting of Epicenter's famous Kup's column.
After Kupcient passed away in November 2003, "Stella's Column" debuted the next month in the Chicago Sun-Times.
