CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

White Sox star John Danks got sued by a high school pal who was paralyzed after falling 10-feet onto the rooftop deck of the pitcher's Goose Island condo in 2010.

Blake Papst claims in the lawsuit filed in Cook County on Aug. 14 that his brother shoved him from a concrete structure above the deck. The Papst brothers attended Round Rock High School in Texas with Danks.

Papst, who was unable to move after the fall, alleges that Danks checked his condition but then left him on the deck for hours before carrying him inside. Danks refused to call 911, and also refused to let Papst call, the lawsuit claims.

The lawsuit also names Papst's brother, Waylon Papst, and the condo's management and association as defendants. The lawsuit claims the concrete structure did not have proper safety railings.

Danks' attorney Francis " Pat" Cusiner, a Glenview village trustee, did not return calls seeking comment. Papst mother, Debbie Papst, also declined comment.
