Man dies after complaining of chest pains on flight to O’Hare

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A man died after he complained of chest pains while onboard an American Airlines flight headed to O'Hare International Airport Thursday morning, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Kevin Malacolti, 52, was on an American Airlines flight travelling from Pittsburgh when he began having chest pains, the medical examiner's office said.
Malacolti, of the 1600 block of Summit Drive in Pekin, was taken to Resurrection Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:52 a.m., the medical examiner's office said.
Officials with American Airlines did not immediately return calls for comment Thursday night.
