CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE: A Des Plaines man has been charged in connection to a Monday night shooting that seriously wounded a man in Garfield Park, police said.
Jeffrey D. Grafton, 31, was charged with aggravated battery, according to police News Affair.
Grafton stands accused of shooting a 31-year-old man multiple times Monday in the 4300 block of West Madison Street, police said. He is scheduled to appear in bond court later Wednesday.
The wounded man was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
