CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A Chicago favorite is back in town.

The Universoul Circus has been a favorite with Chicago parents and kids for years. Geared toward a African-American audience, this ethnic themed circus has a cast and crew from all over the world.

But Onion Head The Clown tells our Patrick Elwood "this is the kind of entertainment appeals really to everyone. It appeals to the heart and soul and those are all the same color worldwide."

The Universoul Circus has created a big top thrill-ride infused with an unparalleled global mix of circus artistry, music, dance and style - all inspired by reflections of the world around U.S.

The UniverSoul Circus 2012 production entitled "US" - featuring Shaolin Kung Fu acrobats from China, bone-breaking contortionists with hop-hop flair from Guinea, and hilarious acrobatic comedy from South Africa - will be performing from Sept. 19 to Oct. 21 at Washington Park in Chicago.

UniverSoul Circus is sponsored in Chicagoby the Black McDonald's Operators Association.
