Mariah Carey, Nicky Minaj, and Keith Urban have signed on to judge alongside "American Idol" original Randy Jackson.
It's the most dramatic change for the "Idol" lineup since Simon Cowell left the show.
There are some questions about whether the new judges will be able to measure up to Cowell and Paula Abdul - or even Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.

Randy Jackson, who's been there since the beginning, said he's expecting big things from the new faces at the judges table.
The twelfth season of "American Idol" is scheduled to premiere in January of 2013.
