No one won Friday night's $36 million Mega Millions jackpot, but one player who bought their ticket in the northwest suburbs came close, and will pick up $250,000.
The winning numbers in Friday night's drawing were: 08 - 09 - 16 - 32 and 39, and the Mega Ball number was 15.
While no one matched all the numbers in the multi-state lottery game, someone who bought their ticket at the 7-Eleven at 1 N. Wolf Rd. in Prospect Heights matched five of five numbers and will collect $250,000, according to the Illinois Lottery. One other player in Illinois matched four of five numbers and the Mega Ball, and will collect $10,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be held on Tuesday, and the jackpot for that game is $45 million.
