CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
You think you have a good relationship with your significant other, but then you see a tweet or Facebook post that makes you wonder.
Playing out online right now is a Twitter situation that smells like trouble between Miley Cyrus and her actor fiancé' Liam Hemsworth. Reportedly, he's tried several times to get her off Twitter.
On September 13th, Cyrus tweeted: "ever feel like you want, just, something more. Not sure what exactly -- passion perhaps?"
Later the same day she tweeted: "no, there is not trouble in paradise. Just thoughts."
Then, this afternoon, she sent out this opaque, but maybe ominous, tweet: "I've got some serious thinking to do."
This isn't just happening to celebrities. Research on last year's divorce filings in Britain found that one-third of them contained the word "Facebook." The latest research in America is from 2009 and shows that Facebook was named in one out of every five divorce filings.
So, what do you think? Does social media cause problems in relationships? Has it ever happened to you? Leave your comments on our Facebook page.
