For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this high-energy indoor cycling studio has partnered with Bright Pink, a national nonprofit dedicated to the prevention and early detection of ovarian cancer. Shaw's Royster with the Oyster
This 24th annual block party celebrates the last day of Shaw's Crab House's Oyster Fest and features live music, a sea of delicious food from Shaw's, wine and beer, and an oyster-slurping contest at 7pm. Winners of daily slurping contests all week face off to battle for $1,000. More than 4,000 oyster lovers attended the bash last year. Lincoln Park Zoo's Harvest Days
Pretend you live in the country for a day at Lincoln Park Zoo's free Harvest Days. Groom a pony, greet a goat, watch someone milk a cow. Movie marathon
Go on a 24-hour thriller bender at the annual movie marathon. Watch "Squirm, The Beyond, Phantasm" and "The Burning" among others. In between films, hear from actors Sybil Danning and Jeff Lieberman, explore vendor booths, or stop by the food trucks for a nosh.
