Chicago may stagger city sticker deadlines

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Chicago City Clerk Susana Mendoza said the deadlines for city stickers could become staggered throughout the year.

Instead of a June 30 payment deadline for every car, minivan, s-u-v or truck, Mendoza said staggered deadlines will help families who have more than one vehicle.

The city has sold more than 1.2 million stickers so far this year.

Last year, officials raised the standard price from $75 to $85.
