Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (My50 Chicago) -

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

According to Breast Cancer.org, there are more than 2.6 million Breast Cancer survivors in the U.S.

Researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts concluded that the lack of patient provider discussions may contribute to socioeconomic,-age-and race-related inconsistencies in the use of Breast reconstruction after a mastectomy.
